Where our (and your) money goes is really important to us. We didn’t want to pick just any charity. We chose Oxfam Canada because we wholeheartedly believe in their mission and their projects, which you can learn more about here. We also wanted to make sure that we chose an organization with total financial transparency, most cents of the dollar donated actually going to the cause, and one that was in need of more funding to support their work.

Oxfam Canada's motto is, “Ending global poverty begins with women’s rights” and that is exactly what they are focusing their entire efforts on. The organization works directly with local communities, partners and women’s rights organizations to challenge the system that perpetuate inequality and and keep people poor. They believe women should have real influence over the decisions that affect their lives. “If we fight inequality, we will beat poverty.”

Our company’s mandate is “made for women by women” because we believe women should be empowered in every step of the jewelry industry. With The Form Pendant being a literal celebration of women, we wanted to pay that forward even more by donating 15% of profits to Oxfam Canada.
